The staff were so friendly and helpful, and we really enjoyed the delicious restaurant food. The hotel is in a beautiful setting, and they can arrange trips to explore the surrounding area. We highly recommend it.

The rice fields come right up to the pool and the room windows, so the views are gorgeous. Our room had huge windows facing both east and west, and we got to see a lovely sunrise and sunset at Lesong Hotel. The pool was great for relaxing, the bed and room were comfortable, and the shower was spacious with strong water pressure. We also loved the restaurant, especially the fresh fruit juices, and the staff took excellent care of us. We only stayed one night and immediately wished we could have stayed longer. It's such a pleasant hotel and area. We hope to return for a longer visit someday!

We stayed five nights and enjoyed both the main meals and breakfasts, though we pretty much worked our way through the breakfast menu. The rooms were comfortable and the pool was fantastic. The family run hotel has wonderful gardens full of spices, and makes a real effort to be environmentally friendly, with drinking water available and waste materials recycled. The family also helps local children with school costs. From our bedroom window we watched rice being harvested, fields prepared for planting, and young boys flying kites. We walked to Red Coral waterfall one day and out of the village to Bosi Gardens another. Some other guests were taking longer hikes. A gamelan rehearsal was happening while we ate, and the family warmly invited us to sit and listen to local musicians practice. If anything, the hotel undersells itself. Thanks especially to Willie for a great time at the Botanic Gardens.

The rooms are simple but have what you need, and the view over the green hills and rice fields is breathtaking. Lesong Hotel in Munduk feels tucked into nature. The staff were genuinely kind and went out of their way, from carrying luggage to bringing drinks to our room or the pool. They even prepared an early breakfast at 5 a.m. for our day trip. The on-site restaurant serves tasty dishes made fresh with local flavors. It's a peaceful, authentic place to get away from the bustle and enjoy the scenery. Highly recommended.
