Jimbarwana Hotel

We stayed at Jimbarwana in Negara for five nights and felt at home from the moment we arrived. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and the rooms were spacious. Since we were there during Ramadan, our breakfast voucher was changed to a Sahoor voucher. That worked out wonderfully: the morning chef prepared delicious traditional or international dishes to suit what we liked. Thank you, chef and morning crew, for making Sahoor memorable while we were in NEGARE. We also enjoyed the pool area and would gladly stay here again on our next trip to Bali. Many thanks to all the staff for being so lovely. 🫶

The bungalow was a horrible experience for $93 a night. The room was dirty, had no fridge, and the bed was so old it sank when I slept on it. The listing said it was soundproof, but it definitely wasn't. There is a pool, but they rent it to the local school at 6:30 in the morning, so don't expect to sleep through that. They also set up a lunch venue for a local event right outside my door. I complained several times to different staff and couldn't reach the manager. I ended up cancelling my next booking. At least I didn't see any cockroaches in the room this time, unlike last time.

The rooms are large, there's plenty of parking, and the restaurant food is really nice. The staff are helpful and pleasant. The hotel is quite old, but it's still being maintained. One of the hotel choices in Jembrana city.

The bed was clean, and the bathroom was plain but fine for a proper shower. Food is reasonably priced, though the restaurant isn't open around the clock. The staff were hospitable and very helpful. The building looks semi-modern and the lobby is mediocre, but the rooms themselves are old, with patches on the walls and floor. There are no phones on the third floor. Those good points are what earn the hotel three stars from me.
