The Westin Nirup Island Resort Spa

The sea views and peaceful setting are wonderful. On arrival on the island, Marriott staff welcomed us and we went straight to the hotel lobby by buggy. Service was excellent across the restaurant, rooms, gym, and pool. Mr. Intan, the restaurant manager, listened openly to our comments about breakfast. He asked us to try the coffee again and supervised it himself, which was a lovely surprise and showed they really want to improve. I'd recommend the hotel to anyone whose budget allows.

The complimentary activities available each day were a real highlight. There was always something to do without having to plan, which made it easy to unwind from our busy lives in sg. A few dishes could've been better, but the food was generally decent and that didn't spoil the stay. The resort was clean and well maintained, and we appreciated the regular fogging. Service felt warm and professional throughout. We had a comfortable, enjoyable visit and would recommend it to friends.

We had seafood at The Salt both nights, and it was excellent. The Saturday seafood BBQ stood out for its great range of fresh seafood. The facilities are beautiful, though some minor work was still going on at the new property. It didn't disrupt us. Rain kept us off the beach, but the well-equipped gym and its yoga and Pilates classes kept us busy. When the weather cleared, walking around the island was a pleasant way to explore, and we'll definitely return. We spent three days and two nights at The Westin Nirup, an easy getaway from Singapore with a direct 45-minute ferry ride. Arrival and departure were a breeze, and Westin staff were waiting on the deck at Nirup Island to help as soon as we stepped off. Everyone we met, from front office and housekeeping to the spa and restaurants, was friendly and helpful. They handled our requests professionally and with a smile, and made a real effort to remember and greet us by name. That care started at the top with Hotel Manager Mr. Oman, Front Office Manager Mr. Komang, and Director of Rooms Ms. Augustine.

The resort sits on a lovely hillside, and the buggy service made it easy to reach the beach, kids’ club, and other facilities. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with beautiful sea views. We enjoyed kayaking and time by the water, as well as the excellent breakfast and the lunch and dinner choices. A big thank you to Laura at the Kids Club. She connected with my son quickly and looked after him so well. Her warmth, kindness, and real love of working with children made a huge difference to our holiday. Desy also kept checking in to make sure we felt welcome, comfortable, and cared for. The whole trip, from arriving by ferry to leaving, went smoothly. Staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. It's a lovely place for a relaxing island break, with beautiful surroundings and great facilities. We'd happily return and recommend it.
