The Apurva Kempinski Bali

Lisna at the Apurva Spa is the reason I keep coming back for a massage. I always ask for her. She’s a true master healer, knows exactly where to work to release the knots, and has strong, gifted hands and so much knowledge. She gets me every single time. I was tempted to keep this treasure to myself, but she deserves the praise. I’ll be back to see her next visit, and so should you. Trust me, you won’t regret it. The hotel and facilities are pricey, but the cost feels right for what you get: the amenities, facilities, and spectacular views everywhere. It’s like a museum or art gallery, with several restaurants that are hard to book regularly, including the famous aquarium restaurant Coral. Great food options and friendly staff. A fantastic place to spend a vacation if you’re looking to stay in.

Mbak Sri and Bayu were so attentive to my family. They replaced our used utensils without being asked, checked in regularly to see if everything was okay, and noticed when our hot drinks were finished, asking if we wanted more. They even gave an animal balloon to our toddler. I’m really impressed and grateful for their initiative and warm hospitality. Their dedication to good service made the experience even more enjoyable, and they deserve recognition for their excellent work.

The dining options were a highlight. At Koral, the tasting menu was amazing, and the aquarium full of different fish is unforgettable. At Palo, I recommend booking a table on the roof for the view over the ocean and whole resort. Both the Malaysian and Indian tasting menus were full of breathtaking flavors. For hot pot, the Chinese restaurant was a great choice, and it was the best meal I had at the hotel. There’s also a kids club with fun activities for all age groups. At checkout, Atha was very helpful and sweet, and everyone was glad to help us with our luggage. The hotel combines luxury and traditional Balinese culture, with clean, modern spaces and lovely staff who brighten your day. I’d definitely recommend it for the service, meals, and real luxury.

The pools were so clean and inviting that we spent most of our time in them. We also loved how easy it was to reach the concierge and culinary concierge by WhatsApp. The restaurants were all amazing, with top notch food and service throughout. Everyone went out of their way to make our stay feel welcoming and luxurious. Damam and Vina looked after us and our room so thoughtfully, keeping it clean and taking care of our needs. At breakfast, afternoon tea, and cocktail hour, the cliff lounge team made us feel at home. Raos always greeted us with a big smile and checked we had enough to eat. For our anniversary, the staff arranged two cakes, sparkling wine, treats, flowers, and towel art in our room. We really appreciated the thought. It was a wonderful holiday we’ll cherish.
