We stayed two nights with my husband, and Angels Bungalow was a great choice. Everything really is super clean, just as another review had said. The design is lovely, the room and bathroom are roomy enough, and the terraces and grounds have a really relaxing feel. It’s near dive centers and plenty of good restaurants and cafes. We took the ferry and rented a scooter, which made it an 8-10 minute ride. If you need a taxi, the kind, helpful staff can arrange one if you contact them ahead of time. We’d love to stay here again when we return to NP.

For the price, this place is hard to beat. It’s the best stay I’ve had on Nusa, and it’s cozy, bright, quiet and smells lovely. Everything is extremely clean, even the terrace gets wet-mopped every day. The bed linen is unbelievably soft, I keep wishing I could buy the same for home. Love this place!

The bungalows were spacious, kept clean daily, and had really comfortable beds. We had a quiet, relaxing stay and found it great value. The shower and water pressure were a bit of an issue, as they often are in Indonesia, but we’re used to that by now haha.

We paid $11 a night and weren’t expecting much, but this place was a great surprise. It’s spotless, has the basic amenities, a spacious room and an AC that cools well. Cleanliness clearly matters here. There are a few nearby shops where you can rent a scooter to explore the island. The ferry point is 3.4km away, and for the price it’s a lot of value. I’d definitely recommend staying here in Nusa Penida.

The location is convenient, with restaurants and the beach within walking distance. Our room and bathroom were a good size, and the air conditioning worked great. The only real issue was hot water: twice it ran out halfway through my shower, leaving my partner with cold showers.
