Exotic View Cottage

The room was roomy and nice, but the hot shower lasted less than a minute before turning lukewarm. We only found one nearby restaurant we liked, as the other options were just okay or lacking. I booked manta snorkeling through the hotel, but the company didn’t have a mask small enough for me, so I missed the one activity I most wanted to do on the island. Some front desk staff seemed uninterested and weren’t much help.

We stayed four days and really enjoyed it. The host is very nice, and the rooms are cleaned daily. Everything shown in the pictures was accurate, and we were impressed by how well the property is maintained, which isn’t something many hotels in the province seem to pay attention to. The room has the things you need, including hot water, soap and shampoo, good air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a kettle, a wardrobe, and outdoor seating on the balcony. It made a great base for exploring Nusa Penida.

The garden and rooms are beautiful, and the people working here are so welcoming and kind. We paid 200000 IDP a night for one room, which was very cheap. I’d definitely recommend staying here in Nusa Penida.

We’d planned to stay one night and wound up staying four. This was one of the best places we stayed during our entire 18-month trip. The bungalows and property were spotless and tidy, and nights were really quiet. The owners and staff took care of everything, spoke perfect English, and were so friendly. They arranged scooters, tours, taxis, and everything else we needed. Thanks so much!
