Gara Gara Sea View

I had a nice holiday, though getting up the mountain was a challenge without a motorbike. There were dogs, chickens, and cows along the way. The dogs seemed friendly, but I still felt a little hesitant. The staff were nice and spoke English. My room had a fridge, kettle, hairdryer, and air conditioning. They can arrange a taxi to the far beach for 500,000 rupees. The pool and the view from it were beautiful.

The view alone makes this little place special. I can't imagine finding a better one on the island, and the rooms are surprisingly roomy and comfortable for the price. The staff were so caring: they helped me find and swap scooters, picked me up so I didn't have to leave the hotel, and even let me have breakfast later without charging me. It's near some really good restaurants and dive centres too. I'd definitely recommend it.

We could see Mt Agung as soon as we stepped outside our room, and the pool was a lovely place to take it in. The whole property was beautifully maintained, with spacious rooms and bathrooms, an open shower, and great facilities. It was also handy being close to the main road and restaurants. The staff were warm and easy to talk to, and sorted out scooter rental, room service, and a spa booking by the pool for us. This was the most peaceful, relaxing place we stayed in across Bali and Nusa Penida. Highly recommend Gara Gara seaview.

The massages looked like a nice extra, and the prices seemed pleasant compared with most other resorts, though we didn't try one. As a foodie, I wouldn't personally recommend the food here outside breakfast. That said, the place was lovely and delivered what it advertised. Whenever we needed something, they took care of it in seconds, from travel bookings to scooter rental. We loved our stay and still give it a solid 5*.
