Horizon Nusa Penida

The location had a nice local feel, away from the busiest tourist areas, and the pool across the road was a welcome extra. You’ll need a motorbike to get around, though. I stayed four nights, and the room was decent with good air conditioning, but the shared bathroom smelled like urine the whole time. I’ve used plenty of hostel bathrooms, and this one was especially unpleasant. The thin walls also meant hearing every door open and close, which made sleeping difficult. Someone took our motorbike helmet, and the business stopped replying when I asked for help, even though they’d responded before. That left me with a pretty negative impression.

The rooms are small, but they’re enough. Sharing the kitchen and WC honestly made me feel at home 😊. The common areas are like a 5-star hotel, and what we paid was definitely worth it. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The location is good by the sea, and the pool and sunrise are amazing. Don’t be lazy, get up at 6 to watch the sunrise here!!!!

CATRA made our stay really comfortable, and we loved the beautiful pool. The food was very reasonably priced, especially the really tasty NasiGoreng for 45k. The location was great too, almost 25 minutes from the city. Thank you, Horizon Nusa PENIDA.

The food and the view were both great, and the breakfast was amazing: a banana friend with chocolate and fruit. There’s a restaurant across from the house as well as a swimming pool. Everything was very affordable, and we got more than we expected. I’d definitely come back, especially when visiting Atuh/Diamond Beach. Very, very recommended.
