Kelingking Garden Villa

The hotel was spotless and felt really cozy, and I had a great stay. The staff made it even better. They were so friendly and went out of their way to help us with everything.

The garden renovation was the biggest letdown. It felt like we were walking into a construction site where there should have been a lovely view, and the listing should say when the garden at the Garden Villa isn't available. There were also some bugs getting into our room through small gaps, which was uncomfortable, and the shower was oddly fitted and leaked. The place itself has beautiful rooms, a great view, lovely pool, and an incredibly beautiful walk around the hotel. The pool didn't seem chlorinated, although maybe they use salt chlorination. Andy and the rest of the staff were very kind and helpful. Andy guided us through activities, and they even gave us a free ride down to the kelingking beach view point and picked us up when we were done.

The team made it easy for us to explore the island. We booked two days of trips around the east and west, and they happily adjusted the plan so we could include a temple outside the usual package. They also suggested some good dinner spots for unwinding after sightseeing. We were two families with pre-teens and spent three nights here. The villa felt new and lovely, with very clean rooms and really comfortable beds. It’s right by Kelingking beach, and the free ride down there was a great perk. We went at sunset, when it was quieter, and the timing was perfect. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend Kelingking Garden Villa!

The phone signal barely worked, though the hotel WiFi came in handy. We had a comfortable mini villa, and the restaurant has a lovely sunset view. Kelingking beach is close by. The receptionist was very helpful, arranging vegetarian food and sharing tips about places to see.
