A good option if you want to stay near kellingking beach. There are two Indian restaurants within reach, india gate about 2 km away and Delhi 6 roughly 7 km away. The breakfast setup is the main drawback when you’re short on time in Nusa Penida: you have to go to kellingking bar and restaurant, around 600 meters away. You get one food item and one drink, and the only coffee available is premix, not the nicer kinds. Otherwise, it’s a good place.

Getting around takes some planning since there aren’t local taxis like on the mainland. You’ll need a driver, scooter, or tour. I walked and also hired a driver this time, so it can be done. Next visit, I’d rent a scooter. I spent three nights here and really enjoyed the peaceful, lovely villa. The staff were warm and helpful, and the location works well for Kelingking Beach, about a 15-minute walk there and back. I’d definitely like to return.

The quiet setting suited us, and the place is beautiful, clean, and comfortable. There’s a lovely pool to relax by, and Kelingking Beach is nearby. It’s a must-see on the island, though I’d go before all the construction is finished. You’ll need a scooter to get around, since there aren’t many shops or restaurants nearby. Our villa shared a wall with another one, unlike some of the separate villas, and the soundproofing wasn’t great, so we could hear almost everything next door.

We stayed at Paradise Suites for a week, and it was hard to leave once we’d settled into the calm. The pool is beautiful, especially with one side opening onto the valley. The villas are clean and nicely furnished, and the staff are always smiling and ready to help. Made, the owner, was happy to arrange transport or trips. The restaurant is a quiet five-minute walk away.
