Hamana Beach Inn by OYO Rooms

The location is perfect. Rooms look a little dated, but they’re decent and fairly clean. Breakfast was fine. The seafood dinner, though, gave me stomach problems.

The beach, garden, and surrounding grounds are lovely. The room was cramped and dusty, and it really needs renovation. For the price, it isn’t worth it. If you’re coming for the beach, I’d stay somewhere outside the area.

We spent two nights here, and it was easy to find. The garden and ocean view were great, the staff were friendly, and the food was good. My room was small, but fine for the price. The beach itself was nice, though there was a lot of plastic trash on it. When we went to check out, we were surprised to find the staff had washed our car. We hadn’t expected that, and I’ve never had a hotel do it for me before. Really good job, highly recommended.

The beach is especially nice in the morning, and it’s wide enough to find a quiet patch. It does draw lots of families with kids, though, so it may not suit you if crowds bother you. There are plenty of nice guesthouses nearby too.
