We came for two nights while exploring Padang and enjoyed the stay. The staff were helpful and friendly, and we could refill our drinking water for free. As budget travellers, we only expected the basics, so having hot water and AC was a pleasant surprise, even on the third floor. There wasn't much street noise, either. It's good value for money in Padang and had what we needed for a budget stay. The cleanliness could have been better, though it didn't really bother us.

It rained heavily while I was there, and the roof leaked badly enough for water to collect on the room floor. The bedding was worn, the TV was broken, and the Wi-Fi wouldn't connect. The password written in the room was fake. There was no hot water, and the tap was small. It wasn't worth the money, and I don't recommend staying here. This was my first and last time.

The other amenities were okay, and I found the hotel adequate overall. But the water was awful and smelled bad. In my fourth-floor room, the toilet wouldn't flush at all. The shower was tiny, and its water smelled, too.

I haven't stayed here myself, so be careful with this advice. After travelling around Indonesia for a few months, I've found Agoda scams to be common, especially in big cities. One tip: go there in person, set up a reservation without completing the purchase, then ask what price they're offering and whether they'll accept the booking through Agoda. Hope that helps.
