Diva (GRO) was warm and attentive, greeting us and checking that we had what we needed throughout iftar. The team at Hotel Santika Padang gave us great service, and I’d recommend it for iftar in Padang. We were there yesterday with family and friends. The atmosphere was comfortable, and there was a good range of tasty food. It made breaking the fast a lovely experience.

I’d happily return to Santika Padang. The service, comfort, and cleanliness felt like very good value, and the atmosphere throughout the hotel was calm and well cared for. Staff were polite and helpful even before I arrived, and check-in went quickly and smoothly. The room smelled especially fresh when I first walked in, which made it feel relaxing right away. It felt like a five-star stay at a four-star hotel. My one request would be to provide more towels, especially hand towels.

The location is convenient in Padang, and if you need a place to pray, masjid SAHARA is an easy walk behind the hotel. Breakfast had a decent range, including some Padang specialties. You can also try coffee made from coffee beans or coffee leaves here. We stayed three nights for academic gatherings at Universities Andalas. The room was okay and so was breakfast. I’d recommend the hotel, though it’s not for budget travellers.

The hotel was very nice overall, and breakfast was great. The front office lady was lovely, though I forgot to ask her name. We got plenty of spring water, but not enough towels or tissue.
