What stayed with me most about Mercure Padang was the team's honesty and kindness. During my stay from 9th to 13th December, I was in Padang to help people affected by the bandang floods, especially in Malalak. I asked whether the hotel could help get some of my donations to the victims. After I had left Padang, when the roads were finally safe, Human Resource Manager Pak Didiprim, Mas Riko, and Pak Asmardi did it in their own time. Pak Didi and Mas Riko kept me updated before and after the trip. They delivered cash donations directly to victims and later sent photos, which I've included in this review. I was deeply grateful for their honesty, transparency, and sense of responsibility. The stay itself was comfortable too. My room was spacious and kept very clean. Mas Riko did a wonderful job with housekeeping, and another staff member had cleaned it the day before. I'm sorry I can't remember his name, but I appreciated his work as well. The front desk team welcomed me warmly and made check-in smooth and reassuring. Breakfast was good, and trainee staff Miss Lala and Miss Melati were especially friendly and attentive each morning. To me, Mercure Padang showed that it's about people with heart and integrity, as well as accommodation. I'm truly grateful and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Padang.

For a one-night stopover, this worked well. The security staff were attentive, and the team were extremely friendly and helpful. My room was clean, comfortable, and a good size. Breakfast was a nice buffet with plenty of choices. I'd highly recommend staying here in the area.

The restaurant was so crowded and noisy that sitting outside seemed like the better option, but unfortunately it was raining. The hotel is close to the seaside, so you can watch the sunset from your room.

For first-time visitors like us, there's a lot on offer, including sea views, facilities, and easy access. Everything was neatly arranged, and the staff were friendly. The gym and swimming pool are well equipped. Thank you.

The bedsheet smelled when we first checked in, but they replaced it after I complained. The restaurant's local food was excellent and reminded me of what I ate as a child, especially ketupat sayur!
