Right on the main road, the hotel makes it easy to explore the area on foot. There are a few stalls and restaurants across the way for a simple local dinner, and Shirley snack house is about half a mile away, with a range of innovative fresh crispy snacks you don't find in Malaysia. The room was clean and comfortable. Reception and concierge staff were helpful and friendly. They served a really refreshing welcome drink made with lime juice and condensed milk. Simply amazing.

I ordered an extra bed, but its mattress was moldy and smelled quite bad. My room's floor was dirty too, and there was no iron. The towel felt small for me. I'm not from Indonesia, so I was quite disappointed.

Our stay was really unpleasant. The security treated us like trash and told guests to check in harshly. The receptionist was just as unkind. The room was dusty, which caused real trouble because my wife is sensitive to dust. There were no towels until I asked, and even then nobody apologized for overlooking us. The sheets and linen were dirty as well. At night, the cleaning boys played loud music on their broken guitar and made a lot of noise. I'd suggest finding another hotel.

The price felt worth it, and breakfast was normal. The rooms are spacious, carpeted, and cozy, while the building looks polished and unusual from outside. My one issue is the huge swimming pool shown in a Google Maps post by someone claiming to own the hotel. There isn't a pool at all. I think they confused it with the similarly named Pangeran Beach Hotel. It's a very discomforting public lie.
