Serangan Inn Mimba

The pool area was lovely for afternoon downtime, and breakfast was good too :) There are plenty of nearby places to eat, from local Warungs to Italian restaurants. The owners helped us get a scooter so we could make the trip into Padangbai’s main town center, about a 10-minute walk away. We had a great three-night stay. We booked through booking.com and everything went smoothly.

The nice pool, good WiFi and quiet room worked well, as long as your room isn’t right along the road. The place is too far from the main road, with limited food options nearby, and they only take cash. Staff weren’t very friendly, and some had trouble communicating in English. The rooms are okay, but the toilet area is spacious for no reason and there’s nowhere to put your toiletries. Staff don’t clean the rooms.

For a quick, cheap night before a morning boat, this place did the job. We paid £19 through Airbnb, so I can’t complain about the price. It’s only five minutes from the harbour, and the room was secure with a clean bed. The room is quite dated, and the bathroom felt a bit damp from the AC, but the room and bed themselves were clean. I’d recommend the hotel for an easy, inexpensive stay.

We liked how roomy the rooms were, and the WiFi and air conditioning both worked well. The pool was clean, with tables and chairs nearby, and the whole hotel felt very clean. Staff were kind and could sort out scooter rentals, tours, and ferry bookings. It’s in a handy spot between the village and the secret beach, and the free breakfast was filling. Only downside for us was no hot water. We’d definitely stay again.
