At under 400K a night, the price is cheap, but there were several issues. The room smelled a bit, and the food was barely edible. Check-in is strictly at 2 pm, even though 1 pm or noon is normal in Indonesia, and plenty of people were complaining when I arrived at 1:30 pm. My room was ready at 2:10 pm, but there were no towels or amenities inside. The surrounding area didn’t feel very safe, so it’s better not to go out alone at night.

Breakfast tasted good, and there’s a nice view at night. There’s a non-smoking floor, and hawker food is nearby. The bathroom had no doormat, though. If you’re staying overnight, I’d suggest checking the room’s features before settling in.

For a family trip, the price is cheap, and the hotel is close to Palembang landmarks like Ampera bridge and the grand mosque, with local food nearby. Still, I have to give it three stars. The toilet fan didn’t work and it smelled a little; the sheet had a few holes that looked like cigarette-burn marks. They’d also left out the towels, so I had to ask the front office for them.

There was dust under the bed, so the room wasn’t very clean. The service really made up for it, though. The staff were super helpful, and I’d recommend the place.
