The staff made the biggest difference for me, especially Ms Indira, who helped make my stay at Excelton hotel a great experience. The food was delicious, and my room was clean. The hotel feels comfortable and luxurious, and honestly, it made me feel at home. I don't usually leave ratings or comments, but this place really made an impression. A very excellent hotel in Palembang!

Breakfast had lots of tasty options, mostly local food, though the dining area itself was limited. The lobby was spacious, and the corridor to my room was quite wide. The bedroom wasn't very big, but the bed was comfortable and the amenities, including the internet, all worked well. The bathroom was rather small, though the shower had strong water pressure. I was here for two nights on a business trip and enjoyed the stay.

The room was nice and everything else was good, but getting to the parking lot means going through the smoking area. That layout is kind of stupid, honestly.

I could walk to several popular food stalls, including Pempek Beringin, which was convenient. The hotel is a bit far from the city, and it took a while to get there, so at first I wondered if I'd chosen the wrong place. But the service and food were excellent, and I ended up feeling satisfied with my stay and glad I picked this hotel.
