Mercure Palu

My superior room was spacious and tidy, and the location right in front of Talise beach is great. There was a wide breakfast selection, with some good options. But when I arrived at 10.30 pm, the AC wouldn’t work. I just wanted to rest, yet they insisted nothing was wrong. I waited more than an hour while two technicians came to the room, and had to ask again and again to switch rooms. It finally started working, so I could sleep. For a well-known hotel, that was an annoying experience. I hope they take it as feedback and improve.

What stands out most is the staff, who were all smiling and so friendly. The service was excellent, the room spacious and clean, and the free Wi-Fi incredibly fast. The food was delicious, with a varied breakfast menu and some of Central Sulawesi’s best traditional food. It’s near Palu Bay, the Iconic Palu Bridge, tourist spots, and the city’s biggest mall. My paradise in Palu, and the best hotel in Palu - Central Sulawesi.

The room was clean and nice. Staying here makes it easy to enjoy the city’s beaches: you can walk to the Jembatan Palu IV and Pantai Taman Ria, have pisang epe and sarabi, or spend time at the little cafes around the hotel.

I liked the cozy room and the view of Pantai Talise, and there’s also a pool and gym. Some staff weren’t friendly, though. I was impressed by how the manager handled my complaint. Thanks Mercure!
