I paid 200K rupiah for one night without a reservation. The AC worked well, and I had a towel and toothbrush, though a few roaches were running around. There was no toilet paper or soap, and the top of the wardrobe was full of cigarette butts. The receptionist didn't speak English, which is pretty typical in Indonesia, and communication was really hard. I tried Google Translate, but he didn't seem to try to communicate back. You get what you pay for: nothing fancy, just a roof over your head.

For our 7-day stay, we got just one bottle of water and no towels for 8 days, even though the room rate stayed the same. We brought our own towels and bought bottled water ourselves, but is that really appropriate service? Hopefully no one else has to go through this.

The hotel refused to serve me when I arrived, saying it didn't accept cash, even though my Traveloka booking said payment was due in cash at check-in. Before I checked out, the hotel told Traveloka I was a no-show, and Traveloka charged me.

The room is spacious and the bathroom was clean, with toiletries and mineral water provided. The AC gets cold, though its motor is noisy. There's a TV, but it isn't a flat-screen and the remote doesn't work. The price was under 100,000 Rupiah. It's good, and I'd still recommend it.

I was charged because the hotel told Traveloka “the guest did not come,” even though I hadn't checked out and was still staying there. Poor service 👎🏻
