The rooms are good, and the hot water was especially reliable. It’s a bit far from the beach. Staff couldn’t help me book a bus and kept saying buses only ran at night. I didn’t believe them, and found one at 8am the next morning.

The rooms are clean and the amenities are good, so this is the best value homestay around Sibolga & Kota Pandan. It’s near Alun-alun and Pandan Beach. Oh ya, MH Homestay has 2 hostels, and the second one is MH 2 Homestay.

The room was sooo good and clean, but they didn’t provide toiletries. The senior staff member, a woman, also wasn’t very hospitable.

My room was paid for, but the hotel canceled the reservation before I arrived. They said it was a miscommunication with the team. Such awful, unprofessional service. Don’t ever book by phone!
