Blue Kecubung Hotel

We had about six hours to fill before our flight back to Jakarta after finishing our forest tour. The staff kindly let us return and use the pool, showers, and restaurant for a very reasonable fee. They were welcoming and helpful, and we really appreciated it.

Food was okay, but there aren't any convenience stores nearby. Hot water in the shower is often unavailable in the morning.

The room was in poor condition and the cleanliness fell well short of acceptable. We also couldn't rely on the internet, which made it impossible to search for another hotel after we arrived in the evening. The elevator was under maintenance when we got there, a real problem with small kids. They offered us a twin room on the ground floor with two beds that were too small, and wouldn't agree to provide an extra bed even though there wasn't enough space for all of us. This was one of the most expensive hotels on our Indonesia holiday and easily had the worst service. I wouldn't book here again or recommend it.

The staff at the private resort were attentive, friendly, and always ready to answer questions or share tips about the area. They did a lot to make our stay enjoyable. Our room was spacious and clean, with modern amenities, a comfortable bed, soft luxurious linens, and a roomy bathroom stocked with the necessary toiletries. It was well kept and had a relaxing feel.
