The room was roomy, and the air conditioning worked well. The shower had hot and cold water, but the TV reception was weak, with a poor picture and lots of noise, even though cable channels were available. Breakfast was disappointing: they covered the bread with a cloth, and served cereal without the milk it’s meant to go with. The airport is about a 15-minute trip away, and there’s a free ride to the airport before 10 AM.

Breakfast was great, and the place was okay otherwise. The air felt very humid because circulation was poor. There’s a nightclub or bar nearby, and its bass came through the wall, which could bother some people.

The rates are very affordable, and the hotel is in a convenient part of Pangkal Pinang, near Hypermart, Giant Supermarket, and Depati Amir Airport. For a budget hotel it was relatively clean, with a TV, AC, and shower in the room. They serve lots of Indonesian dishes at low prices, including some Bangka specialties. There are also whirlpool, spa, cafe, and restaurant facilities.

The room wasn’t very clean, and the walls are so thin you can hear people moaning in other rooms. On the third floor, I couldn’t sleep through the night because there’s a club on the fourth floor.

It’s acceptable as a budget hotel, but the air circulation is really, really bad. For a three-star hotel, I don’t think the facilities measure up.
