There are lots of restaurants around, and the price is affordable. It’s an easy-to-find, strategic spot near Pangururan Waterfront. The room and toilet were clean, there was plenty of water and hot water too, and service was fast. Highly recommended for a holiday in the Samosir area.

The staff wouldn’t let us check in early, even though the hotel wasn’t fully occupied. The location is strategic, but poor soundproofing meant we could clearly hear car horns and passing traffic in the room, which affected our sleep.

The location is near the waterfront and small restaurants, and the area seems set for upgrades soon. But if you book a standard room, double check whether it has air conditioning. I didn’t check and had to upgrade to the deluxe, air conditioned version. How do you sleep in all that heat, oiii?

The booking process was great, and the staff were friendly. The hotel is in a central spot in Pangururan, and since it’s just been renovated, its overall condition is nice and worth the price. The room could be improved with some simple furniture or a closet.

A nice place to stay and one of the few places to explore Toba and Samosir. It’s an appealing budget hotel in Pangururan, at the S. M. Raja intersection near the town’s royal church.
