At "Willamette River Glamping" @Mahkota Sangkuriang, you get amazing mountain and river views along with a cold breeze. It makes for a romantic holiday, and seems like a lovely place to visit as a family or as a couple.

The staff were all polite and responsive, and the place itself is nice and private. Getting there was difficult, though, with a narrow, steep, winding road. The jacuzzi water wasn’t hot and looked a little dirty, possibly because of the rain. Breakfast arrived around 8 a.m. already cold, and didn’t taste very good. With all that in mind, it felt a bit overpriced.

At the Dayang Arum Triangle unit, the journey was tough, especially because the traffic lights at a major intersection weren’t working and traffic was badly backed up. For the price, I expected more attention to detail. During the rain, insects got into the unit, including the bedroom, and made it difficult to relax. Tightly sealed doors and insect-proof trellis would make a big difference. It felt a bit overpriced for what was offered. If you’re thinking of staying during rainy season, keep this in mind.
