The rooms and parking area are both huge. We had about 15 friends over for a small event, and there was still plenty of room. You can choose a cottage or a standard hotel room, and there’s a pool too. It’s right in the city center, and they say it’s a 4-star hotel, the only one in Rokan Hulu. Still, the toilets could be cleaner and need updating. The long, empty hallways, with just a few chairs and tables, feel a bit like hospital corridors. The room and hallway design could use an update as well. Prices start at 550k, which feels pretty high for the place.

It’s an old building, and the bathroom could be cleaner, though it was okay. Towels were provided and changed every day. The room was very spacious, and there’s plenty of parking. This is the best hotel in town, but the published rate feels expensive for a hotel in a regency. Breakfast is buffet style, with some bread always available. The restaurant is open 24 hours. The food was average. Overall, good.

The cottages are at the back of the complex, with 12 rooms, while the main hotel building at the front has regular and business rooms. I booked two cottage rooms, and the bed, chairs, bathroom, fences, and pool all brought back memories of the 90s. The price was average. The hotel is in central Rokan Hulu, among government offices, a jama masjid, and dense vegetation. Parking is quite spacious. Breakfast was so-so, with mostly spicy food. It’s the only hotel in rokan hulu, and although it’s old, it still functions fairly well. For it to have a long future, the hotel needs renovations soon, plus better TVs, internet, and cleanliness.
