I’ve been traveling around Asia for 5 weeks, and I’ve never seen anything like this. Why does this “Hotel” average 4 stars? The reviews are so good, but how? My room needs a complete renovation, and $25 a night is way overpriced. I stayed one night, and even that felt like too much. I gave one star because I couldn’t give zero. The cute Gecko in my room gets that star, not the hotel.

The parking and room are okay, and the food is so-so. The internet is mostly troublesome, and the problems can last quite a while, sometimes taking several days. The mushola is small. Its ablution area is outdoors and not clean, and the toilet isn't very clean either.

It works for a one-night stay, and there’s free water in the room. The air conditioner is a big plus, and there’s a hot shower with soap and shampoo, but no toothbrush or toothpaste. It wasn't very clean: there were spots on the towels and blanket, though they smelled good.

It’s easy to reach, even at night, since it’s right beside the main road, and it’s close enough to a big supermarket. The price is moderate for a temporary stay. The place is clean enough, the staff are friendly, and they offer laundry service as part of the room service. Breakfast was good too.

The food is nice, the restaurant has live music, and the internet connection is good. The room needs improvement, though. The lighting is too dim, the towels are too old to reuse, and the walls need repainting. It’s okay overall, but a 3 star hotel could offer guests better than this.
