Bua Guest House

We only stayed one night at Bua Guesthouse, but the place and rooms were incredibly beautiful. We got there a little early and they let us check in, which was so nice. The restaurant was incredible too, with delicious food that wasn't very expensive. They made the airport transfer easy to arrange, and since we had to leave before breakfast, they packed two big boxes of fruit for us. Everyone was super nice. We'll definitely recommend it to our friends!

They let us borrow a scooter to get groceries, and even kept our backpacks for five days though we only stayed one night. That saved us a lot of money, and they didn't hesitate at all. They usually make breakfast, and since we were leaving before the usual breakfast time, they prepared a special bag of fruit for us. The hospitality here deserves a 10/10.

I've stayed at Bua Guesthouse several times now, and it's an amazing place. The rooms are perfect, and the building is beautiful in a peaceful location. It's good value too. I really enjoyed getting to know Irham from the staff. He's super friendly, organized my transport, and helped me with lots of things.

We had a great time with the taxi driver and guide, who showed us around Medan, Lake Toba, Belawan, and Berastagi before driving us to Bukit Lawang. He's a friend now. Bua Guesthouse is a calm place close to Medan, and the people are extremely nice. They're excellent cooks too, with really nice breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
