You can tell the hotel must have been luxurious in its early days, and plenty of details still give that impression. The gym is huge, though there aren’t many machines. It worked perfectly for me early in the morning, since I had it to myself. There’s also a beautiful golf course, a real plus for people who play. I don’t play myself. Breakfast was generous and satisfying, and the food was good and inexpensive. They had some special weekend deals too. The hotel is large, well maintained, and set in a beautiful area. You can see the ocean over breakfast, which makes for a lovely start to the day. Our spacious room was very nice, with an enormous bed. The bathroom had everything we needed, including a shower, bathtub, toilet, two sinks, and a large glass window facing the bedroom. A curtain could be opened or closed for privacy. The staff were kind, smiling, and helpful. We stayed two nights, and they cleaned the room and changed the linen after just one night, something not every hotel does. I’d read several negative reviews before booking this Uluwatu hotel, in an area full of residences, resorts, and quality accommodations. I had doubts afterward, but our own experience was excellent and much better than what some unhappy guests described. If the hotel has really fixed the problems mentioned in those complaints, I can see it getting even better than it used to be. Having stayed there myself, I’d recommend it. We had a great visit, and if they keep improving, the quality could return to or even surpass its best years.

The only things I’d like to see improved are the Wi-Fi and breakfast selection. The service was generally very good, though, and the pool and common spaces were quiet and pleasant after a long day out. It was easy to get around from here and explore nearby cafés, shops, and attractions. The rooms were clean and cozy, and good value for the price. A comfortable hotel with friendly staff and a relaxing Bali atmosphere. A pleasant stay and a solid choice for visiting Bali.

The calm, beautiful setting seems perfect for Summers. Our room was spacious, the staff were good, and it was handy to have an ATM inside the hotel, available 24/7. You could order food anytime too. I’d recommend booking with breakfast rather than skipping it to save a few bucks. It was good and kept me going for at least half the day. There was only one charging point for our four phones, so charging them one by one took a while. The room was clean, but the sofa and chairs were a little old and not that clean. The biggest issue was the electricity outage, which lasted about 8-9 hours. It wasn’t the hotel’s fault, it was government maintenance, but long outages like that can happen in South Uluwatu.

Dreamland Beach is only a short walk away, which was a big plus. Most other places are a bit far, but the comfort and affordability made the location worthwhile. The room was very spacious and great value for the price. Bli Asad kindly helped us extend our stay in the same room, making everything seamless. I’d definitely stay again!

Milan handled my reservation so well and was hospitable from the very start. He made sure everything went smoothly and checked in to see that I was comfortable. His kindness and professionalism really made me feel welcome. I stayed at Ululani for 5 days, and the room was spotless, the amenities were complete, and the atmosphere was so peaceful. It was a great place to relax. I honestly don’t understand the bad reviews, since my experience was amazing from beginning to end. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely return. Highly recommended!
