The service was the biggest letdown during our two nights at Lulu’s Villa. There’s no laundry service, and when we asked for breakfast on the first morning, staff said they were off and couldn’t provide it. They said breakfast would be offered the next day as an apology, then withdrew that offer. It turned into an unpleasant early morning discussion with staff and the manager. On checkout day, there were no showers or changing facilities once we’d left the room, which is handy in a beach destination like Uluwatu and something other accommodations commonly offer. There are also several dogs wandering freely and resting on guest sunbeds and sofas. Our arrival was off-putting too: before checking our documents or showing us the room, we were asked rather rudely and hurriedly to pay the full amount. The room looked pleasant, but was smaller and less maintained than the photos suggested. The open shower splashes water everywhere, and when it rains there’s a strong unpleasant smell, which we think may be from humidity trapped by the thatched roof. It looks nice, but doesn’t work well. Uluwatu is beautiful and has plenty of excellent places to stay, so we’d strongly recommend choosing somewhere else.

I live in Ulu, so I haven’t stayed here, but it’s become my favorite spot to eat and unwind, whether I’m with friends or on my own. Everyone’s friendly, the food is delicious, and the place is beautiful and peaceful. I feel at home here. 100/10 recommend! Thank you! 💗

We first spent four nights at Lulu’s and could easily have stayed another four. It was our first Bali trip, booked last minute, and the hotel still blew us away. The staff are lovely and go out of their way to help. I had medicine ordered to the hotel while I was out, and they took care of it without any hassle. The hotel is beautiful, the food was very good, and we loved the sauna and ice bath. It’s in a quiet area, around a 5-10 minute ride from the main parts of Uluwatu. We liked it so much that we’re already planning another trip. We came back in November for a week and had another amazing stay. We were upgraded to the big family room, which was good, and enjoyed more of the yummy food. Staff were friendly as ever and went above and beyond, offering to walk us to our rooms with an umbrella in the rain. When we brought instant ramen one time, they prepared it for us. Can’t wait to come again!

The food was delicious at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It was clean, and the staff were friendly too. The location is convenient, with a sauna, yoga studio, ice bath, and pool. You can bring pets here, including dogs and cats.

Dika from the kitchen team was especially friendly and helpful, and Gede and Putu were great too. The villa was quiet and comfortable, close to everything, and looked even better in person than in the pictures. Everything was amazing!
