We were threatened with a baseball bat and wouldn’t recommend anyone stay here. We weren’t told the checkout time, then were detained and only allowed to leave after paying two weeks in advance. They tried to get 6 million from us for 14 days even though we had left. I’ll never come back. This is not a safe place.

My friend and I had a great four-night stay. The rooms were lovely, the pool was great, and the staff were welcoming, helpful, and so lovely. With staff there 24 hours, we felt very safe too.

I stayed for two weeks and found it really comfortable and relaxing. It’s quiet and spacious, a nice place to be around nature, and clear nights are good for stargazing. The resident cats were a favorite too. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. My yoga course provider, Uluyoga, booked it for me and also had good things to say about the accommodation. I’d stay here again on my next visit to Uluwatu.

The rooms were nice and cleaned each day, and the staff were wonderful. Lumbung is about a 30 minute walk from several beaches, with restaurants also close by on a quick scooter ride. The Wi-Fi wasn’t great in my room, though it worked okay in the common spaces and didn’t affect my trip. I had a wonderful stay.
