Rumah WJ Room and Suites

The room was clean and the bed comfortable, and the price was good. It had no windows, though, and the bathroom smelled a bit. I'm guessing the poor ventilation, also because there are no windows, was the cause. It was noticeable after a shower, but not too bad. The owner was super lovely, quick to reply, and up for a chat. He even kindly gave me a ride on his bike to the laundry place. It's easy and cheap to get into Uluwatu with a Grab bike. I'd stay again. Thanks for having us.

We stayed twice, once at the beginning of our Bali trip and again at the end to wrap things up. Om Alex hosted us both times. He was welcoming and friendly, looked out for us, and gave us advice about places to visit around Bali. The first room was on the third floor and we loved it: simple, bright with artificial light, large, and with cold AC. On our second stay we had a smaller room on the second floor, but it was still spacious enough. Both rooms were clean and bright, with a comfortable temperature. Hot water worked well both times, even at the sink, and there was a wardrobe and hanging racks. We couldn't get a room with a balcony on either visit. There's a refrigerator and refillable drinking water, too. We thought the water on the second floor tasted better than the first-floor one. It was a lovely stay, and we'd come back if we visit Uluwatu again.

The room was in very poor condition, and a lot needs cleaning or improvement, including the towels, floor, bedsheets and more. There was no hot water at all, the AC was already on and couldn't be adjusted because its remote was faulty, and there was no shower gel or shampoo. A strange smell at first turned out to be from lots of naphthalene balls. Staff were helpful, but the room itself was in a very low condition. It's cheap, so keep your expectations as low as possible.

Good service, good staff, good room. Everything was good, and I'll definitely come back!!! 💯💯
