The restaurant food was delicious, and the staff were very friendly. Our room was spacious, with lovely architectural details, in a beautiful eco hotel with sweeping views. I liked having the bathroom open to the outdoors, though mosquitoes could get in, and we had to keep toiletries inside so a snap monkey wouldn’t grab them. I’d definitely return.

The ocean view and beachside location were the highlights, and I might stay again for that view. Staff were polite, helpful and friendly. Lunch was excellent, with lots of tasty options, though breakfast was very poor. I spent two nights in a muso room. It was small but acceptable, with some dust and poor bathroom lighting at night. Cleanliness could have been better, and there was too much noise at night.

A good fit if you want quiet and to be closer to nature. The hotel seems to be working on improving the experience, though the in-room facilities are a little old. Glass windows would make it easier to enjoy the beautiful view from inside the room.

The restaurant was very good and the view incredible, but we found the staff completely unhelpful. We paid €110 for two sun loungers, which felt extremely expensive, and then rain started two minutes later and lasted all day. We moved to the café area, which had no minimum spend. They weren’t responsible for the weather, of course, but nobody offered an arrangement. We asked to pay just for our drinks, but they refused because we’d paid the deposit by credit card, which I could understand. Then we asked if they could deduct what we’d spent that day and let us return tomorrow in better weather to use the rest. That wasn’t possible either. We sat in the café for hours until we’d spent the full amount. We live in Uluwatu and won’t be back.
