Uluwatu Breeze Village

The one good part was the friendly staff at Uluwatu Breeze Village. The room itself was very old and poorly kept. The bathroom smelled strongly and unpleasantly, and to reach the toilet you had to cross the wet shower floor. There was nowhere for towels, so we left them over the closet in the main room. Housekeeping didn't replace them unless we asked, and the fresh towel we got was dirty. The room didn't close fully, so a gecko and lots of mosquitoes got in. It was also so noisy, with traffic and animal sounds, that sleeping without earplugs was impossible. There weren't any breakfast options either. A disappointing stay.

The hotel is alright and the rooms are fine. The bathroom does smell damp, but it's still a decent option. I don't understand the bad review because of their dog. It's just a puppy with a leg injury.

The rooms smelled of sewage, which was absolutely disgusting. Then, two days after I checked in, I was bitten by the puppy at the resort. I had to pay €3,500 out of pocket for vaccines and anti-rabies immunoglobulin because they acted as if nothing had happened. They didn't apologize or even acknowledge that the dog at the resort wasn't vaccinated against rabies. They also refused to take responsibility for the costs, even though it was THEIR fault for not managing a dog properly. Getting bitten by THEIR dog while on holiday inside the resort is unacceptable. Simply appalling!

We were shocked by how inflexible and unhelpful the customer service was. Although we had a booking, Uluwatu Breeze Village Hotel canceled our accommodation because we planned to check in after 10 PM. Basically, they told us to find somewhere else. I'd tell other travelers to watch out for the strict check-in policy and look at places that can better meet their needs.
