Wanaseta Guesthouse

The rooms are simple, but clean and nice, and it was quiet at night with no construction noise. The property itself is stunning, with amazing gardens and two well-kept pools. Staff were sweet and very helpful. It’s central and close to everything, but just far enough from the chaotic areas. I’d stay here again.

The staff were a fantastic group, always ready to help with whatever we needed. Our room was awesome and cleaned every day. The location was perfect, close to everything but tucked somewhere quiet. Such a great little home stay. Thanks for a great vacation!

The room only really had a bed, though the AC worked perfectly. The rooms are dated, the bathrooms are appalling, and the bedding, towels, and curtains were stained. Mosquitos were everywhere, day and night. Breakfast was more like a low quality snack, although the staff are lovely people and work hard. You can make it work if you set your expectations accordingly. The map makes the beach look close, but there’s no pavement, so you’ll need a scooter. The supermarket opposite is a proper scam, with no prices displayed and a 15k charge for bottled water that costs 6k in Uluwatu. There’s no way this is a 3-star establishment.

The staff were super friendly and let me check in early. My room was spacious and beautiful, and the bed was clean and comfy. I’d read earlier reviews saying the curtains were see-through, but that wasn’t my experience. The location is great, within walking distance of the beach. I’d definitely stay here again!
