I’ve stayed twice and am already looking forward to coming back. The team is always helpful, and there’s a shop next door. The upstairs restaurant had just reopened, so we got to enjoy a really nice breakfast there, plus sunset beers with an awesome view. It’s a great location, and finding this kind of value in Uluwatu is a win.

We were moved to a different room after finding termite droppings by the bathroom door and little holes in the wood. The owner brushed it off as nothing serious and said they use insect spray. In the new room, we spotted bed bug droppings on the mattress. Staff said the hotel is old and that they clean the mattresses, but bed bugs can hide deep inside. It felt like they were covering up the issue instead of dealing with it. I can’t recommend this place.

There’s a serious termite and bed bug problem here, and the owners seem to cover it up instead of fixing it properly. I’d strongly advise staying elsewhere.

I’m so glad this was my first hotel in Bali. The rooms are lovely and the location is great, but Koman and Suryati really made the stay. They were helpful every step of the way, even when we weren’t staying at the hotel. They sorted out a motorbike rental and helped us withdraw cash from an ATM. They made our trip easier and more enjoyable, and I feel like I’ve made two friends in Bali. Highly recommend, and thank you!

We’ve stayed in lots of homestays around Southeast Asia, but none have come close to this one. The rooms were spotless and felt fresh as soon as we walked in. Everyone was friendly and easy to talk to, and nothing felt like too much trouble. The food was so good we barely wanted to leave, and the pool and sunbeds were a great spot to unwind. My girlfriend and I can’t wait to come back to Ulu :D
