The people are what made the trip unforgettable. Mr. Putu Surdika welcomed us into his family home, where we got to meet his wonderful family and experience real Balinese hospitality. I hope his son gets the chance to study whatever he dreams of, medicine, engineering, anything. This family deserves it. Mr. Putu also went out of his way to arrange shipping when I realized I'd left one of my things behind. That kindness and professionalism is rare. You can trust this guy! We’ll definitely return, for the diving and especially for the warm people. Lots of love from Italy, Mr. Putu, and I hope to come back soon. The homestay sits right in the heart of nature, peaceful, green, and authentic, while still close to what you need. The rooms are simple, very comfortable, and spotlessly clean, with tropical sounds all around. You might wake to a rooster or hear pigs and dogs nearby, but that made it feel more like nature. The lush garden and big mango tree add to the charm, and Mr. Putu's generosity shows in everything. He speaks excellent English and takes such good care of each guest. He organized our whole snorkeling and diving holiday, from transfers and equipment to the breathtaking underwater spots around Menjangan. We felt safe and guided, but still free to enjoy every moment. If you want heartfelt hospitality alongside adventure, this is the homestay for you. Thank you so much, Mr. Putu!

I’ve been here three weeks and am enjoying it so much. There are just three bungalows, so it's always peaceful, and the location is really quiet. The rooms feel homely and comfortable, the breakfasts are wonderful, and Putuh has lots of great trips and advice about what to see and where to go. He and his family make you feel welcome, not like a guest. If you want traditional Bali life away from the crowds and touristy places, I don't think you could go far wrong here.

Putu is such a caring person, always ready to help, respectful and sincere, and careful about everything he does. He can find a solution when you run into a problem, and the service is wonderful. The little Garden is full of lovely plants and flowers, and being there makes you feel close to nature. I spent three nights here and loved discovering this hidden, magical place. I recommend Putu and the homestay. Enjoy it!

The shared kitchen was handy for making myself something simple, and the property was clean. When mangoes are ripe, you can ask Pak Putu for one. I only stayed a night, and Pak Putu was a very helpful host. The room didn't get much fresh air, and the air con wasn't very cold either day or night. I liked the open air bathroom, but it was hot; after showering, I was sweating again by the time I got back to the room.
