The room rate includes breakfast, though at this budget price I wouldn’t expect much from the food. Still, it was okay. It’s an old-fashioned, affordable, family-friendly hotel with clean rooms and surroundings, plus parking inside.

The room was fairly spacious, and the location is convenient for Pekalongan Station and the Batik Museum. But the staff weren’t very helpful, the parking area was a mess, and the AC didn’t cool. There were lots of mosquitoes, and Wi-Fi only worked in the lobby.

This might have been a great place back in the 1970s, but it isn’t anymore. The staff weren’t helpful, and when I showed them four very large cockroaches I’d caught, they were all busy on their phones. Wi-Fi only worked in the lobby, with nothing in the rooms. Mosquitoes were everywhere, so I had to get the room sprayed twice. They used a highly toxic spray, probably banned in other parts of the world. 😳 As for breakfast, coffee wasn’t available and they charged extra for it. What they did serve was basically a huge pot of rice and some kind of watery soup, not very nutritious. Would I stay again? No, I’d keep driving.
