The staff were friendly, and the hotel is near the center, only a few minutes from the big Mosque. The room was just so-so. There’s no fridge, and getting a hairdryer meant asking for one and waiting a long time.

There’s plenty of good food nearby, so ordering through GoFood or GrabFood is easy, and the parking is adequate. The location is good. But my superior room felt rather sad: it was dark, there were ants in the corners, and the windows let in both air and noise. When we asked to borrow a pillow, this was the only hotel where they replied, “kami tanya dulu ya”.

The location is excellent in the city and it wasn’t too noisy. Food was decent, with a few tasty enough options. The lobby isn’t very big, but it’s comfortable, and the lift worked normally. I stayed on a weekend and the parking area was limited. If you need to drive out in the morning, make sure your car isn’t blocked by the cars parked in a line. The room was standard, but the towel wasn’t clean enough and had a black mark.

A decent choice for a business trip, with a fairly large room and a coffee machine in it. There’s a pool table on the ground floor, and Pekanbaru mall is nearby for finding food. Breakfast was pretty basic, with limited choices and average taste.
