The room itself was nice and comfortable, with a smart TV, but ours was on the ground floor by the parking area, so we could hear noise from the alley and parking lot. A few receptionists seemed arrogant and annoyed when we asked questions. At 10am, we asked a staff member lounging in the lobby to clean our room. When we got back at 4pm, nothing had been done. Luckily, we'd already pulled off all the bedsheets, so we could tell they hadn't done the job. Please add a hook for hanging towels in the toilet and provide tissues. Staff could also use training on speaking politely to guests.

I’ve been back to Sans Viandara Hotel three times, and every visit has been pleasant. It feels safe and comfortable in Pekanbaru, with clean rooms and friendly, professional staff. I haven’t run into any problems, whether staying briefly or for longer. I’d recommend it.

Tofan, the Area Manager, really helped me out. The front desk said they didn’t have a hair dryer when I asked to borrow one. Tofan offered to take me by motorbike to a shop about 5km away, then came inside and asked a staff member to show us where they were. We ended up finding a child-sized dryer, which was better than nothing. I’m very grateful. Taking a guest shopping isn’t part of the hotel’s SOP, so that was especially kind of him. Thank you, Tofan.
