Variz Homestay By OYO Rooms

Okay.

My two nights here were pretty comfortable, and the room had hot water, soap, a clear TV picture, and Wi-Fi. The rate was affordable, though I wasn’t happy about being charged extra for electricity after booking through OYO. The room was mostly clean, but there was dust and trash under the bed. I’d be fine with a slightly higher rate if it included mineral water and a simple breakfast with toast, coffee, and tea.

The room and bathroom were clean, but I left disappointed. Wi-Fi didn’t work, and guests have to top up the electricity token themselves, which I’ve never had to do at a homestay before. Check-in was also a hassle since nobody was on duty at 7 PM. 😏

It was quiet inside and easy to reach from the main road. The room was comfortable, and the hot water, AC, and cable TV all worked, though the Wi-Fi was poor. Getting in was another matter: even though I arrived at 10 PM and there were hardly any guests, the neighborhood was deserted and the gates were shut. After I managed to enter, I waited more than half an hour for the staff, who seemed to be asleep upstairs. I was exhausted and nearly booked somewhere else, but eventually got my room.
