Terrace Retreat & Spa

It’s a calm place to get away from busy areas and relax. I had an amazing stay at terrace retreat & spa 🌴 The room was spacious and comfortable, the pool was great, and the staff were kind and helpful. The peaceful atmosphere is perfect for resting and enjoying nature. Great value for money, and I’d happily recommend it ✨

The owners were friendly and helpful, the meals were nice, and the rooms were beautiful and comfortable. We wanted somewhere restful between trips and couldn’t have picked a better place. Nature is all around, both to see and hear. We’ll have to come back once the pool is finished 🤗 As another guest mentioned, keep a close eye out as you get near. Google Maps takes you past the place and then into the rice fields.

The resort sits among rice terraces with a lovely view, wild forest in the distance, and a beautiful sunrise. Medewi beach is only about 10 minutes away, and I enjoyed surfing there in the mornings and afternoons. You’ll need transport to reach the resort, though; walking from Medewi is quite a mission. I stayed two nights with my family, two adults and kids aged 8 and 10. The houses use high-quality materials, and care went into the furniture design. Rooms and bathrooms are spacious, and there’s even a bath. The bed has a full mosquito net around it, but you barely notice it while sleeping. Breakfast was very good, with fruit, eggs, and toast. The small lunch and dinner menu had spring rolls, Balinese Rice, noodles, and French fries, all fresh and delicious. We also recommend the fresh juice. The pool was still under construction, but massages were available in the guest rooms. Being surrounded by nature was lovely, with birds and crickets singing. For my wife and me, though, the sounds got quite loud when we wanted to sleep, so I used earplugs. Just be aware.

We were among the first guests at Tarrace retreat, since it’s a new place, and had a wonderful stay. The rooms were clean and beautiful, with views over the rice terraces, and breakfast was lovely too. It’s peaceful and quiet, and the nearest beach is five minutes away by bike. I’d love to visit again next time I’m in Medewi!
