Villa Pulau I

Everything was good.

A beautiful villa with really friendly staff. They helped us rent a scooter and offered tours and breakfast. We had an amazing stay.

I really appreciated how welcoming and accommodating the hosts were throughout my stay. The villa itself is beautiful and well maintained, and the pool was especially nice at night. The area might not suit everyone, though. Several mosques nearby broadcast the call to prayer on loudspeakers multiple times a day, including very early, around 5am. I fully respect local customs and religious practices, but the noise made it harder for me to relax and sleep, which was one of my main reasons for choosing this location. Also, getting around without a car or motorbike can be difficult since there’s little within walking distance. I’d arrange transport in advance. The villa and hosts were great, but if you’re expecting a very quiet, secluded retreat, the surroundings may not be a good fit.

The villa gave us a wonderfully private place to unwind, decorated with so much care and style. Communication with the host and staff was always excellent, and we loved the breakfast. We also used the laundry service, and there’s another laundry about a 15-minute walk away. Dinner meant a walk to a nearby restaurant, 30 minutes away, but the food was delicious. It was nice staying somewhere less touristy and experiencing a more authentic side of Bali. For us, it felt like a little island of relaxation in paradise. Highly recommended!
