Villa Semadhi

The beach was almost empty while we were there, so Villa Semadhi felt like a private oasis with wonderful views. The whole team made us feel welcome, almost like we were visiting old friends, and everyone seemed happy to share their culture with us on our first trip to Bali. The villa is very well kept, and you can see how much care goes into it. Pak Direksen helped plan an epic itinerary so we could see everything we wanted and more. Before the trip, he’d also arranged our airport pickup and explained what to expect. Kadek drove us there, handling the winding roads like a pro, and gave us a feel for the service we’d receive during our stay. Jero’s food was all amazing, especially the seafood platter, which I highly recommend. We’re already looking forward to coming back. Thank you to the whole team.

We’ve spent the last five days at this lovely beachfront villa, and I’ll be sorry to leave. The ocean is right out front and the mountains are behind us, so the view is hard to beat. We’ve enjoyed the infinity pool, outdoor dining area and kitchen, massages in the gazebo, and walks along the black sand beach. It’s a traditional Balinese setup, with clean, pleasant air-conditioned rooms, each with an en suite. Some have indoor facilities, while others have outdoor showers and bathrooms. The food and service have been delightful, and the staff have taken care of every need. I couldn’t recommend it more highly.

I loved falling asleep to the waves in my room, then opening the doors in the morning to look out at the ocean. The bed even had its own starry sky, which made it feel like a really unique stay. Villa Semadhi is beautiful. I could take in the sunrise or sunset from the beach, the pool, or the comfy chairs by the water. The area was peaceful, with lovely beach walks, and it was fun seeing local people flying kites in the evenings. The chef served delicious food night after night, and the staff were so sweet. Thanks for the wonderful views and experience.

If you want to get away from the bustle of the south, this is a relaxing place with everything you need in the villa. It looked just like the pictures, and we walked in with big smiles. The meals are lovely, the staff are helpful with any questions, and there’s a pool, beach, and incredible snorkeling.
