The room matched the photos, and it was clean and spacious. It’s about a 15-minute motorbike ride to Jatiluwih Rice Terrace. Calma was a wonderful place to stay, and Pak Gede was very friendly. There’s no AC, but the room stays cool enough during both the day and night. We’d definitely consider coming back. 👍🏻

If you need fast internet for work, there’s a cafe about 50 meters away that worked well for me. I only wish Wi-Fi would be installed at the villa soon, since I’d have liked to stay longer. The villa is new, clean, and cozy, with photos that match what you find there. It’s a lovely quiet retreat in a secluded part of central Bali, with a breathtaking view. Batukaru, Jatiluwih, and the hot springs are nearby, and the host is always ready to help.

I’m left with no idea where this accommodation is meant to be. We tried to book for the same day through Booking.com but couldn’t, and as Europeans we couldn’t book directly because of the payment requirements. When we went to the location, there were no signs and we couldn’t find the place. We sent the manager the attached photo again, but they said it wasn’t their property. The whole situation felt very suspicious.

The room is spacious and the view is lovely. Just be ready to disconnect, since it’s far from everything and there’s neither Wi-Fi nor phone service.
