Spaces Bali

I stayed in Stone 9, one of the beautiful and unusual poolside rooms. The wooden houses look iconic, and I’d love to try one another time. The rooms are gorgeous, and all the details are carefully considered, from the welcome basket to a minibar stocked with the drinks and snacks you choose. Liese and Johnny were so hospitable, and the boutique hotel clearly cares about creating a quality guest experience. Breakfast was delicious. The kitchen team were wonderful, and I loved the tofu scramble each day and the oat milk flat whites. The rescue dogs were lovely company, each with their own personality and now living their best lives. Their stories before Spaces Bali rescued them are heartbreaking. I also had a massage with ibu Luh, who was incredible and left my mind and body relaxed and recharged.

Jonny and Leise were such welcoming hosts, and everyone on staff was friendly. The food was consistently delicious and the coffee always spot-on. My room had separate king singles, plenty of space, a great shower, natural body products, and a desk on the balcony overlooking the pool. The pool was right outside my door, and the tap water was safe to drink. It was a convenient spot near the beach and good dining, and the internet was fast across the property. The connection was especially good in The Zone conference room, which made the place well suited to courses or work. I loved staying at Spaces Bali and highly recommend it.

The houses and furniture have a lovely coordinated washed-blue and indigo look, and the whole place felt protected and secluded. Lisle and Johnny have made a beautiful, peaceful haven, and it was easy to feel at home. The team were friendly and always there if needed. You can relax by the pool, away from the city's rush and traffic. Surf spots are a 10-15 minute walk away, and Johnny has a huge quiver of boards to rent. He’s a really cool guy.

We loved the healthy breakfast each morning and the nice pools. With only a few rooms, it feels private and secluded, and the service is very personal. You can tell they’ve thought through every detail. A really amazing place for a relaxing holiday!
