In 2026, even the priciest room is just IDR 350.000, much less than it was five years ago. The staff are really helpful, and getting around is easy with plenty of Grab and Gojek drivers. There’s no breakfast since COVID, but nearby food options are plentiful and ordering online is simple. The room was clean, from the floor and curtains to the sheets, pillows, and towels. The AC was cold, and the hot shower had very good pressure.

I stayed one night in the J room upstairs. It’s a simple, tidy guesthouse tucked in the backyard of a Soho, with warm water and breakfast served until 10 AM. The IDR 380k rate surprised me a bit, but the stay was okay.

Parking is spacious and access is easy, and breakfast is served. The price is moderate. In Purbalingga, this is the best hotel, with top-quality furniture and a good toilet and bathroom.

Wisma Griyaku 2 is close to the center of Purbalingga and feels like a homey guesthouse with family facilities. You can pick a room with either a double bed or twin beds. For what it offers, the price is moderate. This is the new location of Wisma Griyaku.
