Our upstairs room was spacious and comfortable, with a beautiful panoramic view of the sea and volcano and good air conditioning. We had a minor issue, and the staff were exceptionally helpful in sorting it out. We'll be back.

The restaurant is on the beach, and the staff are nice. Prices seemed about average for locally run restaurants. Getting there from the main street can be a little tricky, especially after dark. I only mean the beach restaurant in this review: the food was pretty average. I liked the idea of charcoal barbecue, but the flavors didn't come through for me in either the fish or the chicken.

The bathroom in our room wasn't very clean, and there was a strange smell throughout our stay. Some restaurant dishes were visibly stained and didn't look properly cleaned. Apart from that, we had a very pleasant stay. The hotel itself was nice, with amazing staff, breakfast included, and direct beach access. There's also a restaurant, snorkeling gear and scooters for rent, and they can arrange taxi rides.

The location is amazing, right on the beach, and there's a paddleboard rental next door. The food is decent too, and the people here are super nice. The internet in the rooms wasn't good enough for me to work.

We spent three lovely days at Amed Sunset Beach. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and clearly well maintained, and the staff were so kind and welcoming. We also enjoyed the restaurant's excellent food. With direct beach access and a beautiful pool, the location was superb. A great place to relax and enjoy Amed.
