Master Homestay

We took one of the boat trips for fishing and had a brilliant time, even catching some tuna. The quiet sunset from the porch was something I'll remember. The place is right by the beach, yet 50m from the main road, so it was peaceful at night. Rooms were clean, the bed was really comfortable, and there's a nice terrace outside each room. Wi-Fi worked well for browsing and calls, and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast had a good range too. The lanes are narrow if you're bringing a scooter, but manageable.

I liked it enough to extend my stay to a full week. The room was spacious, clean, and had good air conditioning. Wi-Fi was hit or miss, though I had fewer problems on the balcony. The staff were lovely and always around to clean the room. It's central and the ocean is just a stone's throw away, though the way there goes through a narrow alley. Great value, and I'd happily come back. Thanks!

The shore location is nice and the staff are friendly, but reaching the guesthouse from the road means walking down a very narrow passage. The rooms were a bit dirty, there's no TV, and the tropical shower makes it awkward to wash your feet. Breakfast was okay. You can rent a mask and fins here to look underwater, though watch out for jellyfish nearby.

I booked three nights and moved to another hotel after the first one. The Wi-Fi kept cutting out, and staff blamed the wind. Of the three lamps in my room, only one worked, and one had a broken plug and was basically just decoration. There was no warm water either. When I reported that, the girl said she'd send someone, but never came back. After I returned from the ocean, cold, in the dark, and covered in salt water, I waited an hour, then found reception closed and she was gone. I couldn't shower and had to sleep with the salt drying on my skin. It was really uncomfortable.
