We could hear people talking loudly next door, and at 3:29 am we heard them having sex. The room seemed poorly insulated, perhaps because ours had a connecting door. The TV was worse than at other 3-star hotels, and the old fridge seemed close to breaking. At check-in they gave us a hard time when we asked for a double bed and said none were available, but it turned out they did have a room with one. Don't be taken in by the hotel's stars. I'd suggest finding somewhere else.

The food and drinks were delicious, and the staff and hoteliers were humble. One of the best 4-star hotels in town, with complete facilities.

I went to Java Heritage for the first time with my Uncle & Aunt for a wedding Reception. For a small town, the huge building really impressed me, and it can even hold 2 Ballrooms. The ballroom was a decent size and nicely set up for the wedding, right next to the Hotel. Our room was spacious, with a clean bed and bathroom. The shower pressure was weak, though, and the hot water took a while to heat up. Someone should look into it, Room 303. Staff were friendly and attentive. The lobby was quite loud, with decor all over the place, including peranakan and idul adha themes, but I didn't mind. After the event I had a late-night Earl Grey Tea at the 5th-floor Bar, a great finish to a long day. Breakfast was in the same area. I was still full from the night before, so I only tried the egg station, and it was good. I also loved the Traditional Tea varieties, especially Wedang Sereh & Uwuh FTW! That hot-water issue aside, my first stay was excellent. Thanks to the management, and I hope to come back in the near future 🙏🏻

The atmosphere was comfortable and the staff were friendly, though I had come to Java Heritage with high expectations because of its good reputation. The room TV seemed small for this class of hotel and was awkward to watch from bed. At night, the shower water also wasn't hot enough, which disrupted my rest. I'm offering this as feedback to help improve the guest experience. Thank you.

The service was right on point, and breakfast had plenty of choices. I only stayed one night, but the room was huge, with a separate bathtub, shower, and toilet.
